The eastern portion of Colorado is very flat grasslands with few human inhabitants. The central eastern section seems to hold most of the population. Today we traveled across the Rocky Mountains. We drove along valleys and watched the rock formations, the treelines, and snow covered peaks. We drove through tunnels. We did not put on our tire chains or need to use the run away truck lanes, luckily. We drove along rivers and ate our lunch from the cooler in Glenwood Canyon. Sprouted wheat sourdough and turkey never tasted so good.
