As suddenly as we entered Utah the landscape changed from mountainous foothills to day often flat land. We followed the Colorado River along 128. The red rock formations began to show and were interesting to watch from the car. We love the place we are staying at Moab Springs Resort which we visited briefly before checking out Arches National Park this evening. The formations were amazing and even though it was 97 degrees it didn't feel too bad as there was a slight breeze and the sun was setting. We visited Balanced Rock and the Windows area including the Double Arch. The sky was big and blue. We love it here. We ate at McStiffs - Ellis a carnivore pizza and the rest ordered gyros.
