Fort Collins
July 22 Fort Collins, Colorado
Great to see Marcia, Kelley, and Reese Slentz again. The are wonderfully inviting hosts and showed us all the highlights of Fort Collins. Tuesday evening is busy downtown. We ate at BeauJos Pizza. The restaurant features an old truck in the dinning room and claw foot bathtubs that hold the salad bar fixings. The city has artistically painted pianos stationed around the city for people to play and enjoy individually or in groups. We saw a cider shop that doubles as a bike shop and even has a place for people to park their bikes inside the cider shop. There was a woman sitting on a couch in the cider shop crocheting. We don't have that in Gowen. Fort Collins is a great a city. It has many opportunities to be active and best of all is the home of our friends.
July 23 We ate at Stuft hamburgers and checked out the nursery/ hops garden High Hops.
